I am a day late on this. Warning was released on October 3rd 2000. Warning is one of my favorite Green Day albums and one of their most underrated.  My personal favorite tracks on Warning are Church On Sunday, Deadbeat Holiday, Waiting and Macy's Day Parade. I have fond memories of the Bridge school Benefit concert where Green Day played Warning acoustic for the first time to debut the song.   I have hoped for years that Deadbeat Holiday would make a Green Day setlist!

I have scoured the internet looking for some fresh Green Day news and have came up empty. Therefore I am going to post news from last month. Green Day side band The Coverups have an upcoming concert on October 28th at the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles. The Coverups have played 12 shows since 2018.  They play some familiar songs that Green Day have played live or recorded like I Fought the Law , My Generation, Blitzkrieg and  I Wanna Be Sedated to name a few. They even cover Nirvana. By pure coincidence The Coverups play a Misfits cover Teenagers From Mars that The Network recorded for their first album Money Money 2020 on Billie Joe Armstrong's former label Adeline records.

The Green Day crew look like they are having a blast playing through all their favorite cover songs.  Some of their concerts also combined Green Day, The Longshot and Foxboro Hot Tubs. The concert sold out as quickly as tickets went on sale(I tried to buy some but was way too late).
